Join Jeremy Moran and Abbie Scianamblo as they bring the mantra "Sthira Sukam Asanam" to life in A Celebration of Conscious Cooking! Translated, this mantra means, "our relationship to the earth should be steady and joyful." In each session you will learn how to apply this sacred teaching to designing your menu, shopping, preparing, cooking and serving your food. Drawing on the artistry of a yogi chef and the ancient science of Ayurveda, find new ways to nourish yourself and others with extraordinary meals that create an atmosphere of harmony and balance in and around you.

We will spend time in the kitchen preparing and talking about quality vegetarian food before enjoying the fruits of our labor in an intimate dinner-party setting, sharing a 4-course meal and discussing the principles and properties of eating in a mindful way! The goals of this series are:

  • greater knowledge of healthy food preparation
  • learn about food and its health giving properties from an Ayurvedic perspective
  • experience cooking as a spiritual practice
  • learn exciting new menus
  • have a great time!
